Birth and Labour Support

$1,000 CAD

You're pregnant! Congratulations! Birth and labour support is for anyone that would like to have a support person present at the birth. Whether you're a brand new parent and are terrified, unsure what to expect, or this isn't your first rodeo and you want a cheerleader that is there just for you. I am here to empower and encourage you through every part of your labour experience. It doesn't matter whether you already have a partner/friend /parent that will be with you, I will be there to support you both. 

This option includes:

  • 2 prenatal visits to get to know each other and plan out your ideal birth and prepare you for possible outcomes and things that may come up.
  • On call from 36 weeks
  • I will then be present from the time you ask me to come, up to 2 hours after birth.
  • There is also 1 sixty minute postpartum visit included to help ease the transition from being pregnant to having a whole baby that's all yours. 

Postpartum Services

The postpartum period, otherwise known as the fourth trimester, can be an overwhelming time for anyone. My biggest goal is to help you feel less intimidated and more confident in your abilities as a parent. I have helped families with feeding assistance, general household tasks such as dishes and laundry, or things even as simple as taking care of baby to let you catch up on sleep. Additionally I can support you with good postures for feeding as well as baby's position and posture. 

Postpartum shifts are billed as:

  • $30/hour for daytime shifts, minimum 3 hour time commitment
  • $40/hour for overnight shifts, minimum 6 hour time commitment

Birth and Postpartum Package

$1,300 CAD

This package is a beautiful option that can allow for a more supported transition into parenthood. Sometimes those first days and weeks can be a lot, and having someone that you already know, who has been through your birth with you, to be there as a safety net can alleviate a lot of anxiety and stress. 

  • 2 prenatal visits to help prepare and plan for your birth. 
  • On call from 36 weeks. 
  • Present with you from when you ask me to come until up to 2 hours after birth. 
  • 1 sixty minute postpartum visit and 12 hours of postpartum support, scheduled as needed. 
  • Option to add more postpartum hours at the reduced rate. 

*This option saves you the equivalent of 2 free postpartum hours. 

Massage

Massage services can be added to any package, please contact for more information and to customize a package to fit your needs. I even have pregnancy pillows to allow for the option of a facedown treatment, even in your third trimester!
